Musashi Announces an Investment in TANAAKK

Musashi Seimitsu Industry Co., Ltd. (Global Headquarters: Toyohashi-city, Aichi, Japan; President and CEO: Hiroshi Otsuka, “Musashi”) has made a strategic investment in TANAAKK K.K. (Headquarters: Tokyo, Japan; CEO: Mr. Shoichiro Tanaka, “TANAAKK”).

Through collaboration with TANAAKK, Musashi aims to improve its corporate value through the promotion of Musashi’s DX (Digital Transformation) strategy, as well as stepping towards being an innovative company, through the expansion into the cloud services developed by TANAAKK.

Musashi is moving beyond the framework of conventional automotive part manufacturing and aims to transform the business into an “Essential Company” with technology as its core, and in alignment of the 100-year vision “Go Far Beyond!”. Musashi will accelerate these efforts through DevOps*1 and RevOps*2, which are technologies that are capable in solving innovative related hurdles that occur in a corporate’s internal new businesses, developed by TANAAKK.

*1 DevOps (Development Operations)
The improvement of processes and automation, initiated from the research and development phase through the product release stage. Such method includes certain quality tests, such as bugs and security, as well as product improvement through user feedback.

*2 RevOps (Revenue Operations)
The improvement of processes and automation, initiated from the lead acquisition phase through marketing activities to orders received through sales activities and upsell through customer success.
