Musashi Named a 2026 Automotive News PACE Pilot Finalist for Two Technologies

Musashi Americas has been named a finalist in the 2026 Automotive News PACE Pilot program for two innovations: Suspension Sense® and TractionTech Disconnect™.
The PACE Pilot program recognizes post-pilot, pre-commercial innovations in the automotive and future mobility space. These are technologies that have proven themselves in demonstration and are positioned to change how vehicles are built and driven. Finalists are selected by an independent panel of industry judges following pitch sessions and technical review.

Suspension Sense® Ball Joint
Suspension Sense® technology is a new approach to suspension wear diagnostics. By embedding intelligent sensing directly into the ball joint, it delivers real-time wear and ride height data without adding external sensors or wiring complexity.
TractionTech Disconnect™ Electronic Differential Disconnect (EDD)
TractionTech Disconnect™ differentials offer a simple yet robust solution for the final stage of power transmission systems. By combining splined connection components, this new compact solution is versatile, simple, and sturdy, reducing machining costs and increasing system reliability across all vehicle propulsion systems.
Being recognized for both a chassis sensing technology and a driveline innovation in the same year reflects the breadth of engineering work underway across the Musashi organization.

Winners will be announced at the Automotive News PACE Awards ceremony on November 17, the opening night of the MEMA Conference in Metro Detroit.
